Dress up:

We are celebrating World Book day in school on Friday 7th March 2025.  The children can come to school dressed up as either their favourite book character or in bright colours.

Reading volunteers: 

Like last year, we would also love some volunteers to read a story.  If there are any parents, carers, aunties, uncles or grandparents out there who would be willing to come in and read their favourite story to the children, we would love to know!  Whether it is a short story, picture book, a chapter from a children’s book or a traditional story we would love to hear them.  

We would also love to hear from any parents that could share a story in another language with our children. 

Ready Steady Read (RDR): 

We will be launching our Ready, Steady, Read sponsored reading program on World Book Day, where children will be given a form to read at home and, hopefully, gain some sponsorship for doing so.
