We finished!!! 

The Year 5 secret book club have completed their first read – The Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali Q. Rauf.  Here are some of the comments they made about the story;

Intriguing....I wonder what it is really like living as a refugee.  It must have been incredibly hard to live in that situation.  He was so lucky to find friends that cared and wanted to help especially as he knew no one to begin with.   The ending was really good, but we don’t want to give it away, let’s just say that if it was a film, my sister would have cried!

We recommend this book to confident readers in years 4, 5 or 6, so get reading!
