SEND

Dear Parents & Carers,

At Brookland Junior School, we are committed to providing comprehensive provisions that support the diverse needs of all learners, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) I work closely with staff, children, and families to create personalised learning pathways, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to thrive.

From tailored resources to individual support plans, we pride ourselves on offering a provision that is flexible, responsive and designed to meet the unique needs of each child. Whether it be through additional support in the classroom, specialised interventions, or working with external specialists, we are dedicated to creating an environment where all children can succeed.

We also prioritise creating an inclusive environment by fostering understanding and respect among all learners, ensuring that SEND children have access to the same opportunities as their peers. Through regular assessments and close collaboration with families, we strive to ensure that the needs of each child are met and that they can reach their full potential.

Please see the documents below which highlight the support we offer each child, in further detail.

If you would like to speak with me, then please do not hesitate to contact me on the details below.

Kind regards,

Courtney Clark
