Visions and Aims
Our Vision is to support our pupils in developing for the future to become:
- The life-long learner whose thirst for knowledge has been nurtured by an exciting and creative, skills based curriculum, where links between subjects enhance pupils’ knowledge and where pupils are encouraged to become independent, self-motivated learners.
- The self-confident communicator who has learnt to express him/herself through a range of participative media: speaking and listening, ICT, creative arts and a modern foreign language.
- The enthusiast for life who has been encouraged to lead a healthy and physically active life through a broad and diverse curriculum that emphasises the life-benefits of PE and the provision of a wide range of extra curricular sporting, academic and lifestyle clubs.
- The resilient, well-motivated and independent young person who is equipped with essential life skills of self-confidence, self-discipline, self-esteem and self-respect.
- The citizen of the future who has developed a strong respect, understanding and tolerance of others through active citizenship, engagement with the wider community and awareness of cultural, ethnic and religious diversity.
